Affectionately named The Nut House, this cabin was renovated after we moved it from Birdsong Peanut Company where it once served as the peanut sampling office. This is Rocky Bends largest furnished cabin and is sure to provide plenty of room to enjoy your stay with family and friends.
One of the two newest cabins located at the end of the property. This cabin is the sister cabin to the River Birch that is located next to it. Built out of wood harvested from the property it sits on, this one bedroom cabin is an excellent choice for those seeking a little more privacy.
Located toward the end of the property, the Riverbirch cabin is almost identical to Longleaf. Its front deck offers its occupants a magnificent front row view of the Flint River that you will only find at Rocky Bend!
This cabin was nothing more than a abandoned old hunting cabin that was the only cabin on the property, it was once propped up by rocks under the foundation and left to survive in the elements, however with a little TLC, it was raised in the air and expanded into what we now the call the Treehouse.
A couple of years after being open, we saw the need for an additional two bedroom cabin. The majority of the wood used to build this cabin was harvested right here on the property. Located toward the top half of Rocky Bend, it offers a handicap accessible ramp and magnificent view from atop the hill.
What once was an abandoned add on for a home that had burned, was transformed into a two bedroom riverside delight. Named for the Great Horned Owls found around the property, it is located toward the lower half of Rocky Bend and offers a full front deck for viewing of the beautiful Flint River.
Located next to our Cypress Knee cabin, you can find the Lighter Knot which is a close resemblance to our Little Rock cabin, this one room cabin offers an unparalleled view of the bend of the Flint River in which we derived our Rocky Bend name from.
The Little Rock cabin once housed interns for a local equine sanctuary found in Baker County. Located in the middle of the property, this cabin closely resembles the Lighter Knot and is elevated to offer a full view of the Flint River from its front deck.

Our primitive cabins are 10ft x 10ft and offer you a chance to experience a stay on the Flint that is more old fashioned, yet without the worries of rain or the heat. A bathroom facility is located on the property with showers. All primitive cabins are built identical excluding the color on the outside.

Rocky Bend Flint River Retreat is proud to offer full and partial RV hookups options to guests who prefer to bring their own RV. All of our RV lots, whether partial or full hookup are wired for BOTH 30 and 50 amp to ensure full access to any available spot no matter the energy requirements of your RV. We are also happy to provide a coin operated laundry mat facility as well as a bathroom and shower facility on our property grounds.
